Research interests: theoretical and practical problems of the constitutional foundations of the Social Security Law and their importance in the current conditions of development of the legal system of Ukraine.

Ranevych Orest was born on 13 May, 1993 in the city of Lviv. In 2015 he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and obtained a Master’s degree in Law with honors.

During the period of 2015-2018 he pursued postgraduate studies at the Department of Social Law of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Supervisor – Prof., Doctor of Law P. D. Pylypenko.

In 2019 he defended the thesis on the topic: “Constitutional Foundations of Social Security Law”.

Since March 2018 he has been practicing law. Currently, he works as a Docent of the Department of Social Law at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Participation in international scientific and/or educational projects:

In November 2021, as a legal expert, he was involved in an analysis and mapping of the regulatory framework of Ukraine vis-à-vis the National Strategy on Barrier-Free Society in Ukraine, organized by the Council of Europe, Department of the European social charter and commissioned by the Office of the President of Ukraine.
