On March 9, 2021, a scientific seminar of graduate students of the Faculty of Law was held on the topic “Implementation of the principle of proportionality in the criminalization of acts.” Postgraduate student of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Snizhana Shevchenko spoke at the scientific seminar.
On May 18, 2021, a scientific seminar of graduate students of the Faculty of Law was held on the topic “Procedural guarantees of establishing the truth in criminal proceedings in Ukraine.” Yuriy Tarasovych, a graduate student of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Forensics of the PIH, gave a speech at the scientific seminar.
On May 25, 2021, a scientific interdisciplinary seminar of graduate students of the Faculty of Law was held. Postgraduate students conducting scientific research in various fields of law met for discussion and scientific debate on the most pressing legal issues:
Petro Volodymyrovych BILAN announced a report on “Shareholder’s rights to information in the procedure of merger of joint stock companies”;
D. T. KOVALSKA made a report on the topic: “The right of an individual to a public trial of criminal proceedings in Ukraine, the USA and European countries”;
N. A. GRASYMCHUK with a report: “Abuse of procedural rights by lawyers in the practice of the High Anti-Corruption Court”;
Pavlo Volodymyrovych DEMCHUK delivered a report on the topic: “Conceptual approach to the study of the principle of legality in criminal law”;
Kateryna Volodymyrivna STAFIYCHUK delivered a report on the topic “Legal nature of cassation proceedings in the administrative court of Ukraine.”
On June 7 (Monday), 2021, at 10:00 a.m., a professional scientific seminar was held for postgraduate students of the department of history of the state, law and political and legal students. At the seminar, the results of scientific research of graduate students were discussed:
Taras Galaburda (dissertation topic: “Criminal justice in Galicia according to the Austrian Criminal Procedure Code of 1873”);
Ivan Kovalchuk (dissertation topic: “Legal foundations of the organization and activity of regional courts in Galicia as part of Austria and Austria-Hungary (1850-1918)”).
Yuri Oliynyka (dissertation topic: “Legal foundations of the organization and activity of the Lviv Court of Appeals during the Second Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: a historical and legal study”).
On November 11, 2021, at 15:00-16:25, a scientific seminar of graduate students of the Faculty of Law was held on the topic “Complicity in a criminal offense with a special subject in the criminal law of Ukraine.”
On December 16, 2021, at 13.10-14.50, a scientific seminar of postgraduate students of the Faculty of Law was held on the topic “Legislative changes in the field of financial monitoring of information on ultimate beneficial owners”
On December 17, 2021, at 15:00-16:25, a scientific seminar of postgraduate students of the Faculty of Law was held on the topic “Concept of the contract for the supply of energy resources through the connected network.”
