The sphere of professional interests includes theoretical and practical aspects of legal regulation of labour relations in Ukraine and abroad, also the prospects for improving Ukrainian labour legislation, including legal regulation of employment in the digital economy.

Ihor Oleksiv was born on November 28, 1993 in the city of Lviv. In 2015, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and received a degree of Master of Law.

He conducts lectures, practical classes for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of the Faculty of Law. Also he teaches an optional lecture course “Legal labour regulation in the digital economy”.

Education:

– In 2015, he received a degree of Master of Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;

– In 2018, he completed postgraduate studies at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;

– In 2020, he defended his Candidate dissertation “Legal guarantees of the employees’ rights in fixed-term employment legal relationship” in the specialty 12.00.05 – “Labor law. Social security law”.

Work experience:

• In 2018, he received a Certificate of the right to work as a lawyer;
• 2019 – until now he works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Law;
