Born on October 26, 1947, Gnizdychiv village, Zhydachiv district, Lviv region, lawyer, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor.

From 1969 to 1974 he studied at the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko University of Lviv. Since 1979 I have been working at this faculty, first as an assistant, and since 1988 as an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology.

1984-1985 years of postgraduate studies at the Shevchenko University of Kyiv. In January 1986, he defended his dissertation at the University on “Theoretical issues and practice of documenting investigative actions (procedural and forensic research).”
