Biography

Candidate of Law, Assistant

Syrko Maryana Vasylivna – Assistant of the Department of Fundamentals of Law of Ukraine, Faculty of Law, Lviv National University. Ivan Franko.

She was born in 1988 in Lviv.

In 2005 she graduated from Lviv School № 81 with in-depth study of foreign languages.

In the same year she graduated from the Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences and entered the Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, graduating with honors in 2010 (OQR “Master”, the topic of the master’s thesis – “Improving the Bar in Ukraine: European experience” ), as well as the Faculty of Law of Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko, who graduated in 2011 (OQR “Master”, the topic of the master’s thesis – “Legal facts as grounds for the emergence, change and termination of employment”).

In 2014 she graduated from the School of Polish and European Law (in the framework of joint cooperation between Ivan Franko Lviv National University and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow).

2012-2015 – candidate of the Department of History of State, Law and Political and Legal Students of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv; Dissertation research “French Civil Code 1804. and its impact on the civil legislation of European countries (on the example of Poland and Romania) “in the specialty 12.00.01 – Theory and History of State and Law; history of political and legal doctrines.

In 2015, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law in Lviv.

Since February 2016, she has worked as an assistant at the Department of Administrative and Financial Law at the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
