Born on February 10, 1975 in Sambor, Lviv region, lawyer, Candidate of Law (Criminal liability for leaving a military unit or place of service – 2005). He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1997).

From 1997 to 2005 he worked in the military prosecutor’s office, as well as in the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine.

From 2005 to 2014 he worked at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs as an associate professor and head of the Department of Criminal Law.

Since 2014 – Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Fellow of the Lane Kirkland Exchange Program (2007-2008) and the Fulbright Scientific Exchange Program (2009-2010). He did an internship at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland (2008), as well as at the Brooklyn School of Law, New York (2009-2010).
