He graduated with honors in 2005 from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. From 2005 to 2006 – Assistant Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology, and from 2006 to 2009 – a graduate student of the same department. Since 2009 and until now – Assistant Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology.

In 2012 he defended his dissertation on specialty 12.00.08 on the topic: “Criminal law protection of religious freedom in Ukraine.”
