Kahnych Volodymyr Stepanovych, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamentals of Law of Ukraine, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law, Member of the International Association of Legal Historians, author of about 70 scientific papers on the history of Ukraine and foreign countries.

He was born on November 13, 1985 in the village of Banyunyn, Kamyanka-Buzka district, Lviv region. In 2003 he graduated from high school with a medal. In the same year he entered the first year of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, graduating in 2008. From 2008 to 2012 he studied in graduate school. In 2012 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law on the topic: “Formation and development of legal education and science at the Faculty of Law of Lviv University (XVII-XX centuries.): Historical and legal research.” In 2015 he received the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Fundamentals of Law of Ukraine.
