She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko Lviv State University in 1962, postgraduate studies at Kyiv State University. T. Shevchenko in 1968

1963–1998 – Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, Ivan Franko Lviv State University.

1997–1998 – Head of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of Ivan Franko Lviv State University.

1998-2002 – People’s Deputy of Ukraine.

2002 – 2015 – Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of Ivan Franko Lviv State University.

Since 2015 – Professor of Intellectual Property, Information and Corporate Law.

Member of the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to finalize the draft Civil Code of Ukraine. On her behalf, she scientifically edited and finalized most of the project’s articles.

Participated in the development of the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine and other draft laws.
