Her scientific interests include theoretical and practical aspects of labour law, in particular, legal problems of concluding and changing employment contracts, legal regulation of labour relations for civil servants, prospects for the existence of non-typical forms of employment.

Biography

Parpan Tetyana Valeriivna was born on 13th October, 1973 in Lviv. In 1997, she graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a major in Jurisprudence. In 1997, she started her career as Assistant Professor at the Department of Labour, Agrarian and Environmental Law. In 2000, she got a position of a Docent at the Department of Social Law of the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

She started her scientific activity as a researcher under the supervision of P. Pylypenko. In 2005, she defended her dissertation “The important conditions of the labour contract” at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In 2014, she received the academic title of Docent.

Her scientific interests include theoretical and practical aspects of labour law, in particular, legal problems of concluding and changing employment contracts, legal regulation of labour relations for civil servants, prospects for the existence of non-typical forms of employment. Tetyana Parpan is the author of more than 60 scientific works, co-author of educational and research manuals, in particular: “Labour Law of Ukraine”, “Labour Protection in the Field of Jurisprudence”, “Labour law of Ukraine. Practicum”.

Projects

She took part in the training “Modern Methods and Technologies of Teaching at the University” within the framework of the program “Teaching Update: Workshops of a Modern Teacher” (12 training hours), October 19-20, 2018, Lviv.

She successfully completed the course in Polish – level A1 at the Cultural and Educational Center “Orzeł Biały” (from October 2019 to January 2020).

She successfully completed a course of professional development and development of pedagogical competences of teachers at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, in the educational cycle KNUTeach Week 2 (May 31 – June 7, 2021). Certificate issued on June 9, 2021, course volume – 1 credit.

In July 2022, as a legal expert, she engaged in providing legal and technical expertise related to the protection of displaced persons, including check-list of social rights and social protection measures for both displaced people and receiving State), organized by The Council of Europe, BH8814/ Department of Social Rights.
