From 2001 to 2007 he studied at the graduate school of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University. Maria Curie-Skłodowska within the European College of Polish and Ukrainian Universities.

In 2007 he defended his dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Laws of the Republic of Poland. In 2009, as a result of re-defense (nostrification) of the scientific degree of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, he received the degree of Candidate of Sciences of Ukraine. Topic “Customs regimes of Ukraine in the context of customs law of the European Union and Poland.”

Since 2007 he has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Since 2009 he has been an associate professor of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law.
