In 1987 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of LSU. Ivan Franko.

1988 – 1989 – Assistant Professor of State, Administrative and Financial Law.

1989 – 1992 – graduate student of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of LSU. Ivan Franko.

1992 – 1995 – Assistant Professor of Theory and History of State and Law, LSU. Ivan Franko.

In 1994 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law (Lviv City Government: powers, organizational structure and activities of bodies (second half of the XIX – early XX century)).

1995 – 2002 – Head of the Department of Constitutional and International Law, Vice-Rector for Research – Lviv Institute of Internal Affairs under the NAVS of Ukraine.

In 1998 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Ukrainian Free University (Munich – Germany).

In 1999 he was awarded the academic title of associate professor of constitutional and international law.

2003 – 2005 – Associate Professor of Fundamentals of Law of Ukraine LNU. Ivan Franko.

2005 – 2016 – worked in higher departmental educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine in senior administrative positions, positions of head of the department and professor of the department.

In 2012 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Laws (City Law of Lviv (second half of the XIII – early XX century)).

In 2015 he was awarded the academic title of Professor of Administrative and Legal Disciplines.

2016 to present – Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Law of Ukraine.
