Year of birth – 1960 was born in the village. Bilyany, Mohyliv-Podilskyi district, Vinnytsia region.

From 1981 to 1986 – a student of the Faculty of Law of Lviv State University. Ivan Franko. He graduated from the faculty with honors.

In 1986-1988 he was an intern. Judge of the Illinetsky District Court of Vinnytsia Region.

1988-1989 – legal adviser of the trust “Zakhidvodbud of Lviv.

1989-1997 – Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, Procedure and Criminology, Ivan Franko Lviv State University.

In 1997 he defended his dissertation on the specialty 12.00.09 – criminal procedure, criminology on the topic “Prohibition of turning for the worse” in the judicial stages of the criminal process of Ukraine.

As an associate professor since 1998.
