Biography

He was born in 1975. in the village of Staryava, Mosty district, Lviv region

In 1993 – entered the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko University of Lviv, graduating with honors in 1998. Since November 1998. – Postgraduate student of Lviv University. Since December 13, 1999. began working as an assistant at the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology, Faculty of Law, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, in connection with which he transferred to distance learning in graduate school, which he graduated in May 2002.

January 20, 2003 in the Specialized Academic Council D.26.001.05 at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv defended his dissertation on the topic: “Court costs in the criminal process of Ukraine.” May 21, 2003 by the decision of the presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine the scientific degree of the candidate of legal sciences was awarded.

In June 2004 He was elected an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology by the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law of Lviv National University.

December 15, 2005 by the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science he was awarded the academic title of associate professor of the department.

Participated in the work of the working group to complete the draft CPC of Ukraine, prepared by the National Commission for Strengthening Democracy and the Rule of Law, for which he was awarded the “Honorary Badge of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine” – Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine 501504/7 from 01.10.2008.

He deals with the problems of criminal procedure, evidence law, prosecutorial supervision.

Since 2013 he has been lecturing at the National School of Judges of Ukraine.
