About the Administrative and Finance Law Department
| The Administrative and Finance Law Department was created in 2008. The Head of the Department is prof. Iryna Zaverukha. The department provides the studying of such important legal disciplines as: “Administrative law”, “Financial law” and several other special courses. |
| Mentioned disciplines reflect the specialty of the department: 12.00.07 – administrative law and procedure; financial law; informational law. |
| Since 2009-2010 the Department have introduced two new specializations for the 5th and the 6th year students: |
| ‒ “Public administration and public service” for the students who are to obtain the Master of Law degree |
| and |
| ‒ “Public administration and public finances: legal provision” for the ones who are to obtain the Specialist of Law degree. |
| In 2009 the department started the research on the scientific topic “Problems of person’s legal status realization in the relations with the bodies of public administration”. |
| Members of the Department maintain ties with the administrative and finance law departments of other Ukrainian universities and also conducts numerous academic activities with foreign educational institutions (including Department of Finance Law of the University in Bialystok, Faculty of Administration at Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz, School of Law and Public Administration in Przemysl, Oregon University professors (USA), etc.). |
| The Department maintains close ties with the following NGO: “The Center of Political Legal Reforms” (Kyiv, Ukraine), “The Center for Information and Research Organization in Public Finance and Tax Law of Central and Eastern European Countries”, and others. |
